David Buttress – Inch by inch…

We have a tradition in our house of a ‘Friday night curry’ and I am sure many people have a similar thing. My brother was telling me last night how great his local Indian restaurant is, better than my local one naturally! (we are competitive in everything, even in things we can’t control like our local Indian restaurants)

He called them the ‘kings of curry’ (i think he had a couple of Cobra’s by the time i called) and how it was great they were now on Just-Eat.co.uk.  He was trying to claim his £15 voucher for suggesting a restaurant to us…it is great to have your families support!?

It reminded me how strong people opinions are about their best local takeaways and how loyal we all are to our favourites.  One thing that we are definitely trying to do at Just-Eat.co.uk is harness peoples passion for takeaway so they can share it with all the other users. There are two really good ways that we can share this information on Just-Eat, one is the obvious rating system on the site and it is important that as users we remember to shout from the rooftops when it is good as well as bad.  As Brits we are the ‘kings of complaining’ but the positive ratings also really help the best restaurants like my brothers favourite to be shared amongst the community.

The second way which is a more subtle thing is to ‘recommend a restaurant’ to us and we will then go and speak to them about having a online ordering system with ‘Just-Eat’. This is a great way for us to find out who are your local fav’s but also for the takeaways to gain new customers who might not know they are the kings takeaway in your area.

We are working hard and being creative to help users like my brother to share this passion and knowledge and rest assured as the site develops Just-Eat.co.uk will not only be a great gateway for ordering your takeaway but also the place to find out who is the ‘king curry’ in your town.

Now it is time to walk the dogs and stop thinking about takeaway for a few hours.:-)
