Market Research- Just-Eat.co.uk

June 26th, 2009 · 4 Comments · Uncategorized

We are currently undertaking market research about what consumers think about just-eat.co.uk and one of the major challenges of these type of studies is finding out what really matters to consumers and not let your own opinions influence it.  (We all have alot of strong opinions here!)

In the second half of 2009 and in early 2010 we really want to ’step up’ how we communicate the order a takeaway on just-eat message and the guys at www.hoopergalton.co.uk have been great at helping us to understand better how we can do this, hopefully you will all agree when you see the campaign in the UK later this year.

Feel free to post your comments on just-eat here in the blog as well.

I think the thing about you guys is the website, just make that better and focus on that. Plus you still dont have a chinese in my area….very annoying!

Thanks for the comment, keep them coming. If we are short of choice in your area, use the suggest a restaurant function and we will happily do the rest.

We know our coverage is not everwhere yet and that is a key focus, but we will.

It seems like just-eat are trying to aggressively grow their customer base! They had a £2 off Haagen Dazs voucher a few weeks ago, and now they’ve outdone themselves with a £3 off voucher on your next order through the website. Considering that the average food delivery order is around £10-15, that’s a substantial discount for just-eat to be offering!

More details about their latest marketing promotion here:

We ave always believed in good viral marketing and one of the key things we like to encourage people to do is talk and share their experience of just-eat. Using a decent voucher offer is one way of doing this.
