David Buttress – Inch by inch…

This weekend has been great already. Takeaway order wise it has been totally without precedent and speaking to some of our restaurant partners it is great to hear they are having a good time too. We also had a super April as a business so onwards and upwards.

Outside the world of Just-Eat it has also been a really good weekend, today I took my dogs for a walk in the woods. Check out the

pictures of my two hounds having a good time. They are both rescue dogs from the RSPCA, I have to say I don’t really understand why people go and buy other dogs unless there is a specific reason.  The rescue homes are full of great dogs and in my view that is the place to go if you want a dog.

I guess everybody needs a release and this is mine, it is what I like to do to relax and having always had a dog since I was around 5 years old it is the only thing I do these days without my blackberry within touching distance!

The start of May also means that the cricket season has started so I am happy to be back playing with the guys for another summer. I really enjoy playing most sports and cricket gives me the Saturday sporting fix that I need to keep me going until the Rugby season starts in September.  Cricket drives Gemma nuts as it takes 7 hours to play a game and on top of that sometimes after all that time the match is drawn.  To people who don’t play cricket it is a game that can appear a tad odd!
